Five minutes before her wedding to the Alpha King begins, a princess grabs the rope held by a hooded stranger and flees the castle. She believes she is choosing freedom over a crown. But the stranger knows more about her fiancé than he should—and the Alpha King recognizes the man beneath the hood. Both men are hiding the truth. Both insist they are protecting her. Caught between the king she left behind and the fugitive who set her free, she must decide whom to trust before the secret binding them destroys everything.

A bride that breaks out in hives and sweats whenever she has to be in large crowds and speak in front of people, looks like she has glossophobia. She was so close to marrying the king. I thought it was a good match. He really likes her and she likes him too. So I was surprised that she decided to climb down that wall. Of course, there is more to this story. Something tells me that the King's dead brother and Agnes' dead brother will come up in the second part. Very exciting!

Very well done! Unexpected plot. I’m thinking ML is the Alpha King’s brother. He seems like an alpha. Anticipating part 2 with excitement. Love the adventure parts in this one.

Wore it like perfume. Carried it around for two days. The world was softer.

There's something about a dangerous man who finally goes still around one woman. This nailed it.

Forbidden done with care. Nobody is a villain, everyone's just human. That's harder than it looks.

I cried at the kitchen scene. Twice. Beautiful work — the kind of story that reminds you why we read romance.

The narration is so warm. It feels like a friend telling you a story over wine, not someone reading a script.
