BackShe removed the prisoner’s iron mask—and he had the same face as her fiancé, the Alpha King.
Maren arrives at the castle to marry the Alpha King. Then she hears something beneath its walls: chains rattling in a passage everyone claims is empty. Deep in the dungeon, she finds a prisoner wearing an iron mask. No one will tell her his name, what he did, or why the king insists on keeping him alive. Maren should stay away. Instead, she returns—and the silent man begins to wait for her. When the Alpha King discovers her visits, he orders the prisoner taken away before dawn. Maren has one night to decide whether to obey the man she is meant to marry… or uncover what he has hidden beneath his throne for fifteen years.

WOW! Part 1 is epic!! What an evil brother. He's jealous because the wolves went straight to his brother at the hunt and their father seems to have already decided his brother would be king. 15 years locked up with a mask and being poisoned with Wolf's bane. Iver can't get off that easy with just his memory loss and all those that followed his command committed treason. They should've lost their heads IMO. Great story, beautiful graphics and exquisite cinematography!
Replayed the last fifteen minutes immediately. No notes.
Listening to this in the bath after a 12-hour shift was the best decision I made all week.
Beautifully written. My only complaint is I want a sequel. Don't tease us like this.
Money in romance usually feels gross. Here it just felt like another wall he had to lower. Loved that.
Small thing — the chapter break after the storm scene was a little abrupt. Otherwise flawless.
I sent the link to my best friend with no message. She replied an hour later with just 'OH.' That's all I needed.
Quietly devastating. Quietly hopeful. Loud in all the places that mattered.
