This is an amazing unique story that I did not know I needed until I watched it. I recommend it. It will stick with me for some time, and maybe even touch my dreams. From one author to another, I would like to offer some unasked for advice. I hope you do not mind. Consider searching for all instances of "almost" and "as though" in the script. Just delete those. Reread and see if you miss them at all. You may find that your writing is stronger and more impactful. Cheers, and keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment! We’re so happy that the story stayed with you in that way. We also appreciate you sharing your experience as an author and your suggestions about the writing. We’ll pay closer attention to how we use those expressions in our future scripts. It’s lovely to exchange ideas with someone who also loves creating stories. Thank you for your kindness and for taking the time to write to us!
Wow. Just — wow.
Whoever writes these knows what restraint feels like. That's rarer than people realize.
I'm 58 and I have read everything Nora Roberts ever published. This holds its own. I don't say that lightly.
The first time he laughs in the story. I waited the whole book for it and it was worth every page.
