I just finished watching this and it was so good! ⭐️ I 100% agree with everything @Vaniilla said. I love the fact that although she didn't have her mother anymore, she had a chosen family with her. Two friends that worked the apothecary with her, and they had each other's backs. The betrayal of a childhood friend hurts a lot and you portrayed it perfectly. It was so nice to see that her future mother-in-law also liked her. The spicy parts of the story were incredible and also funny because he was injured and had to basically walk her through it verbally ❤️🔥🌶️. I would also love to see a part 2 with Gideon's backstory leading up to meeting her. Great work Evie!

Even though this is your longest story yet, I binged it in a single sitting and still wanted more!
The chemistry between the leads was fantastic 🔥🔥🔥 The way they handled the council was very satisfying, and I loved the supportive mother-in-law dynamic. The world-building was so rich too; details like the medicinal remedies and the bridal oil gave this shifter world so much unique depth. Naturally, the spice delivered on every level. 🌶️
Call me greedy, but I’m already craving Gideon’s POV! Seeing his backstory during the war—learning field medicine from the drunk surgeon—and experiencing his journey from near-death survival to hard-won happiness would be amazing. Plus, being inside his head during those love scenes would be pure dynamite. 🧨🧨🧨
